Received this picture from two Blue Valley CAPS Teacher Ed alum on their first K-State game day eve! One of the things I’m the most proud of is that we cultivate friendships in our class that last long past graduation. Can’t wait to see these 2 on the field tomorrow!

Teacher Ed welcomed Sean Phelan from Blue Valley North to walk us through some important facets of Special Education. He is a great advocate for his students and is so passionate about inclusion and the Special Ed community. We all learned so much!

We💙our student teachers! Spent a fabulous morning getting to know them & showcasing why Blue Valley Schools is the #1 district & top employer! Thank you to those who attended our ST Spotlight Series today! If you don't have a ST placement yet for spring - request BV!!!

We asked Kelly Wessel to speak to our Teacher Ed students about job interview tips, what she looks for when hiring potential teachers, etc. What we got was so much more! I am so thankful to have such great support & people willing to pour their time & passions into our students!

🤩Check out these future exemplary educators!🤩 Over the moon excited to see my friends in our @BVCAPS Teacher Education Program!! Thank you for attending the Johnson County Educator Fair! 💙McKenzie Lueders @BVCAPS Blue Valley Schools

Blue Valley CAPS Teacher Ed senior Abby was selected to give a speech at BVN class day! Proud of you, Abby!

A fun surprise on this Monday morning! Two former Blue Valley CAPS Teacher Ed alumni were placed to work in the same bluevalley classroom as paras this summer for summer school. Love to see them back home from college working in our district!

Loved getting this message from two Blue Valley CAPS Teacher Ed alumni on their first day of class at KU! 🍎

We had a great day at the Men in Education conference hosted by Johnson County Community College. Thanks for putting on a great event!
