Another site that we’ll be monitoring as part of the EPA Research News and @BordnaMona funded WetPeat project. Bunds have been created at Ballaghurt, which will soon be used in restoration.

Another day instrumenting two @BordnaMona sites with piezometers for our BnM/EPA Research News funded WetPeat project. We are modelling the impacts of rewetting on water flow and quality.


Collecting intact soil cores for hydraulic analysis with our ME students today. Hydraulic conductivity (saturated & unsaturated) and porosity will be measured and used in our simulations. EPA Research News
