The children loved picking strawberries from our own flower beds.

The children were amazed when they spotted a humming bird hawk moth visiting the flowers they planted earlier in the year.

The children really enjoyed their S.T.E.M. learning day building spaghetti and marshmallow towers, car jumping ramps and seeing who could build the strongest bridges.

The children had an amazing time at the zoo. They all enjoyed learning about classification and being able to stroke a snake. They enjoyed the amazing animals show, feeding the cheetahs, red pandas and watching the sea lions.

The children had a fantastic day learning about Bastille day. We learn how to speak French and enjoyed a French breakfast. We also had a surprise visitor to speak about what it is like to live in a different country. Whitney talked about what it was like to live in South Africa.

EYFS and KS1 had an exciting time learning about a wormery. We were taught how to make one and what we will need to do to look after it. We are excited to get going!

The children had a fantastic experience visiting the church today. Rev Julia showed us what happens during a baptism.

Maths day On Tuesday 12th we took part in a maths day. All the classes learnt a range of mathematical skills based on a film. Lime class looked at A bug's life and KS2 looked at Muppets treasure island. The children then enjoyed watching the film during the afternoon with popcorn

Children participated in a STEM challenge. It is a science, technology engineering mathematics event run by Ian Botwright one of the participants in the program robot wars. The children had a fantastic time contributing ideas and had the opportunity to build their own robot.

My smiles The children have loved learning about their teeth. My Smile is a programme to provide a tooth friendly environment for the children they care for. The children have absolutely loved brushing their teeth first thing in the morning.

The children have enjoyed doing mindful activities the last two weeks. These activities have supported the children with their wellbeing.
