Film3 is a blend of many things wrong with traditional big budget filmmaking. Each person who joins has a different reason why they have a particular need for what it provides. Much as the film industry broadly does not fit squarely in any business sense film3 will be amorphous

GM/GA/GN The prospect of film3 is about ownership. Same as it ever was. But with it comes a set of ethics that embraces fractionalization. It embraces a communal creativity, where fans can decide the future not just with their money but ideas. Equity is also an utmost priority.

Film3 is uniquely poised to take full advantage of the new #VisionPro device. So much of what surrounds our works can go into the apple experience and make it even stronger. Start thinking immersive ideas for your story. Take the audience there.

The #SAGAFTRA vote today is great. More guilds joining the battle for a more equitable future for us all. Film3 is ready, we might even be more equitable than the contract might be. Either way creatives rise up!

If you were to look under the hood of nearly every film project it'd look like a mess. They all are, yet each film starts from a very simple creative place. Each step that place shows itself to the operators making that film. Each one deserves a piece of this spectacle. #film3

The more history you look into the more to be both excited and worried about. What film3 can become is truly powerful. It would enable a different economy heavily charged by digital ownership, similar to the social media ad sharing boom but run by fans. While also fueling fans.

What film3 has done is bring a method with an ethical pledge attached to making films. Do what hopefully the Hollywood system begins to do, but we know won't do completely until the artists themselves start to direct sell with success. First tent pole will set the tone.
