Our highway department put on a masterclass in preparing for and executing during a snow storm. The mountains and ridges of Hamilton County make it a daunting task — but our crews were exceptional.

Words matter, especially from the pulpit. Rev. Steve Caudle encouraged violence against Elon Musk, and this message I received today is an example of the consequences. As MLK said, violence only begets violence.

A great school is like an anchor for its community. That’s Snow Hill Elem., serving kids from the suburbs and also the farms of Northeast Hamilton County. Even when class is out, the school is still a hub for youth basketball on winter weekends. Had a great lunch with the Hawks!
