🌈 Year 7 and 8 joined an inclusion workshop as part of their #PSHE curriculum and in celebration of #PrideMonth, focusing on inclusivity and helping pupils empathise with LGBTQ+ experiences. A powerful session that encouraged awareness, acceptance, and respect.

This year's music competition showcased some incredible talent! From a drum performance of Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit, to a moving rendition of Chaconne in G Minor, and a lively Spice Girls tribute by staff that had everyone dancing in their seats.🎶

With over 300 pieces of artwork on display, the Year 8 art exhibition celebrated pupils' creative exploration and artistic development in their final year project exploring landscapes.👏

Year 7’s first lesson of the year was a visit to Parliament to see how democracy in 2024 works, providing useful context for our upcoming topics. It was a great and unique visit, giving the boys an insight into present-day democracy and History.

Starting the new term on a high note, our Music Award Holders delivered an exceptional performance at last night’s concert. The boys played with impressive skill and professionalism, presenting a diverse program from Bach to Bartók. 🎶👏

Today, five of our Westminster Under School pupils have now been formally inducted as King’s Scholars at Westminster School by the Dean of Westminster. We wish them continued success in this next chapter Westminster School

At WUS, we’re big on cubing, and this term is shaping up to be incredibly exciting. 🙌 We began with a visit from professional Rubiks Cube solver George Scholey who gave an inspiring talk on ‘pursuing unique hobbies’. George will be returning twice more this term!

Armed with pencils and sketchbooks, 3R turned the views from Vauxhall Bridge into works of art during our annual art lesson along the Thames. ✍️

Dodging imaginary acid rivers and team building in lively water pistol games, there’s never been a dull moment during Year 4’s trip to Norfolk. 🤩 They’ve also enjoyed woodland activities, beach adventures, storytelling, and rock pooling. Just one more day until home time!
