If anything sums David Moyes up it’s the letting go of two players who could play on the left side of midfield, decide not to replace and then make the decision to play a defender who couldn’t even get in the team there instead. Wouldn’t even see it at Sunday League level.

Did BT Sports just claim that West Ham have a player in Danny Ings that can change a game. Clearly haven’t watched many West Ham games this season. Not changing anything other than hairstyles.

No coincidence that West Ham started winning the midfield battle once Kalvin Phillips was taken off for Alvarez. Appreciate he’s come to West Ham for regular minutes but realistically Phillips shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting eleven. Alvarez is miles ahead of him.

Today sums up the issue at West Ham - fans are actively arguing about VAR decisions that have resulted in not beating a woeful team in Burnley. It shouldn’t be down to VAR decisions to beat these teams with the players we have at the club and the main reason we aren’t is Moyes.

Denied two blatant penalties in the last two games and now the softest of reasons not to allow another West Ham goal today. VAR meant to be improving football at the top level, not further corrupting it.

Danny Ings gets slated as he barely makes an impact in the very few minutes he ever plays for West Ham. Completely our fault given that when he does play well in the brief cameo and scores, doesn’t then feature whatsoever next game. No man management at all.

Based on his first half performance, can definitely see why people in Brazil always fancy Paqueta picking up a yellow card. Buying money if this is what he’s like every international.

People asking if Kalvin Phillips’ swearing at West Ham fans was justified. People had travelled best part of five hours to see another performance from him that wouldn’t be good enough at Sunday League. Spending money earnt in much less paid jobs. His reaction is disgraceful.

Ben Johnson superb yet again yesterday - West Ham need to sort his new contract out as a priority. Versatility has benefitted the team several occasions in recent weeks. Would be woeful business even by West Ham’s standards to let him leave to a PL rival.

Irrespective of views on Moyes, no one can deny, three absolutely incredible seasons in Europe and he leaves with an incredible record in Europe as West Ham manager. Definitely has the end of an era feel tonight after going out to Bayer Leverkusen.

Edson Alvarez has the worst discipline of a player since Tomas Repka. His is worse than Repka’s was. Completely brainless every time he plays.

Enough is enough now. It isn’t the defeats, it’s the manner of the defeats. West Ham have no identity whatsoever. The owners need to bring Carrick in straight away to avoid the season descending into further trouble.

West Ham have had all pre season to address issues from last season and still manage to look like strangers playing together. No attacking threat, woeful defensively still. The crux of the issue is West Ham are not a good football team. Worrying signs for the season ahead.

The feel about this West Ham squad feels like it did under Pellegrini. No direction, no ambition, selling best players and bringing in free transfers or relegated players. There are Sunday League teams with better ownership than West Ham under the current Board. Disgraceful.

No team. Players arguing with fans. Club stripped of its identity. Refusal to spend any form of money to improve the club. Lifelong fans forced out. West Ham as things stand couldn’t feel any further from the West Ham that every fan grew up supporting and recognising.

There is nothing more disheartening than watching the club you have followed and supported all your life fall apart under an ownership that seems happy for it to do so to the extent that it’s now no longer recognisable of the club you have spent your life supporting.

The Telegraph have publish an article “How West Ham Lost Their Soul” Simple answer - West Ham United to West Ham London was always the boards main goal. They have achieved that goal at the cost of the fans. This is not the West Ham United that everyone once knew and loved.

“West Ham fans are watching a poor team in a terrible stadium with a board they hate” The Telegraph spot on again with the state of things at West Ham. The only thing they fail to do is highlight the hate born out of a decade of lies, shortcomings and identity stripping.

Potter still in charge. Not won at home since February. Dreadful matchday experiences, Bubbles barely being sung as a collective anymore. Lifelong fans forced out. Club stripped of its identity. West Ham United seems a lifetime ago. The board have the West Ham London they wanted.

No matter how poor West Ham is at the moment, still can’t quite believe we have sunk to the depths of finishing the game against Crystal Palace this weekend with Mavropanos up front and Paquetá playing centre half. The circus of West Ham.
