Members of the Harlem Wizards paid a special visit to Santapogue on May 23. The classes gathered outside on the basketball court to watch some of the tricks and moves done by the basketball players. Students participated in different challenges, even getting teachers involved.

West Babylon Senior High School honored and recognized its graduating seniors with scholarships and awards for their achievements both in and out of the classroom during the school’s annual Senior Awards Night on June 8. Seniors received more than $120,000 in awards.

South Bay held its academic growth showcase assemblies on June 22. The ceremony is held three times a year to recognize different character traits. Nominated by their teachers, students were called up to be recognized for demonstrating self-discipline in their classroom.
