Today marks the 80th anniversary of VJ Day, commemorating the end of the Second World War and honouring all who served in Asia & the Pacific. I was privileged to join veterans from the Royal British Legion Scotland Cupar Branch to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I visited the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research in Ghana, where researchers are testing new mosquito control tools supported by IVCC, the UK, and The Global Fund. Great to see how this work is helping the fight against malaria up close.
