If any student gets a flat tyre, or needs to pump their tyres up, there is a pump and repair kit in the main office. If students do not know how to fix their bike then they can come to Mr Baker or another member of staff to get help.

Our Autumn Co-curricular programme launched yesterday with students enjoying introductions to a wealth of activities including chess, Seneca Stars and Shrek the Musical rehearsals!

Congratulations to Jasper, Yr 9, who has been nominated for an ACT Award for his portrayal of Miss Trunchbull in Matilda earlier this year. Jasper is a wonderful ambassador for Performing Arts and Music, as a member of Wellacres' productions, Mancs. Musical Youth and a band called S2T!

Noah, Yr 10, has enjoyed success in a summer of athletics: *England Athletics Champs - 4th in 200m in 23sec (PB) *Northern Athletics Champs - Double Sprint Champion, 100m in 11.24sec (another PB) and 200m in 23.1sec Noah is now ranked 8th in the UK for u15s #Proud Wellacre PE dept

Well done from Mrs Axon to all the Year 8 students who have embraced the opportunity as Wellacre Student Leaders so far - they have all worked really hard and been a fantastic help around school.
