I am concerned about the heavy rains which have now reached Kakuma refugee camp.

UNHCR teams are on the ground, working with Department of Refugee Services, partners and members of the community on flood preparation activities. More updates on the situation soon.

Some 20,000 refugees are displaced from their homes and shelters in the Dadaab refugee camps due to flooding.

UNHCR and partners are distributing blankets, sleeping mats, mosquito nets, dignity kits, water purifiers, jerrycans, soap & kitchen sets to those most in need.
