I had a great chat with Craig about Simone Weil for his new channel which you can watch now! Note, though, that I misspoke when claiming that Camus commissioned Gravity and Grace. He did commission some of her books, just not that one.

Weil and her readers deserve better than this warmed over misogyny of past men who wrote biographies of her. Weil scholars don't consider Gravity & Grace to be a useful source for her thought. And this is a terrible misreading of The Need for Roots.
