Sophomore PG Marcus Brewell led West Chicago Basketball with 19 points at Elmwood Park and 13 vs. Larkin, where his clutch free throws secured the Wildcats’ first home win. “Marcus’s leadership and work ethic set a great example,” Coach Ramos said. #athleteoftheweek

Hard fought win today at the Elgin Holiday Tournament! Total team effort in this one to capture our 5th win of the season. We advance to the winners bracket on Thursday at 4:45pm. It will be a rematch of last year’s Consolation Championship with a tough Chicago Lake View High School Hoops squad‼️

John Konchar (Konchar)'s rebounding ability is not talked about enough. This season, the West Chicago grad has made three starts for the Memphis Grizzlies and they have gone 2-1 in them. He's averaging 13.3 rebounds (3.3 offensive) in those starts.Bill Recchia West Chicago Basketball
