📷📷𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦, 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗔...𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦...𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡!📷📷 We had an amazing afternoon yesterday on set with Hop Skip Studios at Breckenhill today! Some of my marvellous minibeasts were starring, with amazing little explorers, in an educational video for BBC Teach!

Thanks to ⁦Allan ⁦Wee Critters⁩ who visited P5. He brought a cockroach, a tarantula, a toad, a snake, an owl and a skunk to our classrooms!! 🕷🐍 So many interesting facts to share with the children as part of their ‘Go Wild' theme. 😃

This week Prep 4 pupils enjoyed a Marvellous Minibeasts workshop with Wee Critters. They met Arthur the armadillo, William Snakespeare, along with Cora and her boyfriend Christopher Walkingstick the stick insects. 🕷️🐍 Thanks to LCCC for funding the workshop. ❤️💚💛

𝗙𝗟𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡! Last week I had the pleasure of attending Eco-School's green flag assessor training. I can’t wait to put the training into practice at schools across our incredible wee country.

A huge thank you to Allan Wee Critters for visiting our P5s today! We got to see tarantulas, cockroaches, parrots and even a very cute armadillo called Arthur! #handsonlearning Eco-Schools

𝗜𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗕𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗗! As I was setting up for an interactive animal education session at a school today, Huckleberry the hedgehog and I spotted this lovely poster that was on display!

𝗦𝗨𝗡'𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗧, 𝗕𝗟𝗨𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗧! I hope you are all enjoying the recent good weather and today's amazing blue skies! This is Bluey our blue-tongued skink! This lizard uses its tongue to scare off predators if attacked.

'Aparrotly' it's World Parrot Day and I couldn't let it pass without celebrating my little parrot pals, Kiki-Dee, Coco and Kiwi the Jenday conures. My little feathered friends play an important role as ambassador animals and help me to deliver a range of curriculum-based topics.

𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦! I recently visited this amazing Nursery School to deliver our curriculum-based topics of 'the world around us' & 'Marvellous Minibeasts'!

P7 Classes really enjoyed their workshops with the wonderful Alan & his Wee Critters friends as part of their All Creatures Great & Small topic study! They followed up this workshop by creating their own models in clay! Such a talented bunch! Thank you Team P7 💙🤍💛

Customers of Cramsie Court went to Ballymoney Museum to see Wee Critters. Barbara Hall, scheme coordinator explains, "the interaction with animals is proven to have positive effects on mental health and wellbeing. Our customers had a great time!" #PositiveAgeingMonth
