Season highlights of sophomore forward Alex Archer.

Archer is a 6-foot-4 swiss army knife of a player on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he’s a crafty finisher with back to the basket feel and passing ability. Switchable defender who guarded 1-5 for us. Has toughness!

Season highlights of sophomore guard Godfrey “G” Little.

G is one of the best shooters we’ve had come through The Nest as he connected on 36% of his 217 career 3FG attempts. The 2023 state champion is an elite floor spacer with great shot prep and lift on his jumper.

I’m gonna keep pushing for the truly special Assistant Coaches to get recognized by the Naismith Hall of Fame! They are such a vital part of the sport.

And, when it happens, I would encourage Tim Grgurich, Bob Kloppenburg and Ron Adams to be some of the first coached enshrined!

4-time 3C2A champion Perry Webster will be hosting youth camps in the Hornets Nest this summer!

JUCO coaches have been quickly flipping rosters long before the transfer portal existed.

Good to see some AD’s & search firms are finally starting to realize this & are considering JC coaches for head coaching gigs directly from JUCO or after a stint as a D1 assistant

I’m all for players getting paid off their NIL. However, let’s be clear, no matter how much money is thrown around, it’s not life changing. It feels like it in the moment, but it’s only a bandaid.

Highlights of Chaminade University-commit Amound Anderson II (Amound Anderson).

The Orange Empire Conference Defensive Player of the Year knocked down a ton of big 3s and mid-range jumpers for us throughout the season. Also an unselfish, every day guy who led by example.

It’s crazy how this is going for some four year schools. They enter a week thinking we’re gunna be good next year we’ve avoided losing too much in the portal. Then 3 days later their 3 best guys are all in portal. Welcome to JUCO my friends. Every day is an adventure. Buckle up!

Don Sneddon, who set the California community college baseball career wins coaching record, has died. He was 1,072-383-3 in 32 seasons at Santa Ana College. Three state championships. His players include several MLB guys including Heath Bell, CJ Wilson, Bob Hamelin.

Human highlight film. Played all year w a broken wrist. Still All League. Some game changing performances. Great student. Comes from a great family. D1 playing experience as well.

This is one of the most wholesome moments I’ve seen in a long time. This young girl brought to tears after Kamilla_Cardoso signs her ‘Everyone watches women’s sports’ sweatshirt. She has a dawnstaley autograph on there too!!
