Hey! OpenSea is everything OK out there? I'm filling in NEW takedown notices every day since 3rd Dec. and this keeps happening *every* single day now, every couple hours. Never had this issue with Rarible and @withFND, its only OpenSea bot-accounts. Some help please?

Blockchain is hyper-neo-liberalism transforming all digital content into infinitely divisible commodities. We will pay thousandths of a cent for things-- we will pay for *literally everything* in the future Web3-tards are building.

No economic bubble is too big to fail. In fact that's the only outcome that can occur. And it's inevitable. It's just a function of when.

OpenSea is now rejecting takedown requests (sent via their own Takedown Form) on stolen artwork, citing their ToS as the reason. We've heard from multiple artists who have sent proof of ownership, but OpenSea refused to take the work down. This thread has more info.⬇️

Screw it, let's keep going: Why is OpenSea deterring artists from reporting plagiarized art? Removing fraud would be good for their customers, right? Did you know that OpenSea doesn't do refunds nor remuneration? They keep a cut from NFTs they sell, even if it's stolen art.

This is the thing— such a huge portion of ppl who are super into crypto/NFTs preach about decentralization and how Web3 will democratize the internet but they don’t actually want that, they just want to be at the top of a virtually identical system to the one that already exists.

OpenSea appears to be using Google for image hosting. If your art is listed on OpenSea and they rejected your takedown notice, try sending one to [email protected] for better results. @martinmcneil shared great info on how to format those in this thread:
