Clickbait title: “The Deep State now has the power to create two category 6 hurricanes at once?!? What aren’t they telling us???” 😂😂😂

I follow a lot of meteorologists, storm chasers, weather bros, etc. Whether it’s hurricane season or the heart of winter. 75% of the enjoyment is the “potential” and tracking. As long as you keep it perspective and convey it that way if you an audience, I see no problem posting

A tropical-like environment will support increased chances for localized flash flooding across much of north and north central Georgia tomorrow -- where isolated rainfall amounts up to 3-4" are possible. Be cautious if out and about! #gawx

I've learned 80% of my tropics knowledge from watching his videos over the last few years. There is no one out there that explains it better than him.

Going to have to rework my analog years with a weak La Niña now being the probable direction. Going to be looking for years where a weak La Niña develops in late fall with a preceding neutral year.

Before going any further down the rabbit hole of analog years for this upcoming winter (mostly because the sample size for weak La Niña winters that were preceded by a neutral year are basically nonexistent), I’m going to do a deep dive into some research articles. Starting

A low-end talking point with #Erin is what is happening to the north in this image. Erin is clearing a lot of mess and SAL from the environment, making the tropical wave that follows a healthier environment in terms of air content

I know it’s hurricane season, but seeing quality cold fronts on models under 168 hrs is what I like to track Tis the season

Afternoon nerd activity: plot weak La Niña winters with negative PDO and place into categories based on previous ENSO year.
