Highs in the upper 80s this afternoon with plenty of sun and a nice breeze! Tomorrrow morning we could see some showers before clearing Wednesday. Rain chances bump back up late week with heavy rain possible Thursday & Friday.

Today was a very nice day, and we are keeping those nice temperatures throughout the week! High temperatures tomorrow will be around 79. Clouds will build in tonight, and showers are likely tomorrow morning.

5:30 AM RADAR UPDATE: Some showers are pushing in from the west, with some light showers north of US-82 already. Showers are likely through about lunch time before they dry up.

Today will be the coolest day in Columbus since May 30th thanks to the clouds and showers! All of us will be in the upper 70s to low 80s. Tonight, Tupelo will push the record low of 55 degrees! Area wide we should see mid 50s to low 60s as we wake up Wednesday!

Already thinking towards the weekend. End of the week will have our greatest chance for showers and storms across NE MS and western AL. Umbrellas at the ready! ☔
