Students from Mrs. Denius' class visited the courtyard garden today. They observed the seeds that they planted last spring as First Graders grow into fruit-producing fruits and vegetables! They even got to meet a VERY real Very Hungry Caterpillar! #Empower2030 eric carle

"Being a Bruin" has special meaning at WBP! "Being a Bruin" means we make good choices. This week Baby Bruins were reminded how important it is to "Be a Bruin" every day through conduct and behavior assemblies. #StrongStart

Shout out to our Shining Star Bruins. They were recognized on the AM announcements this week for "Being a Bruin"! These students were the first to earn a place on the Bruin 100 Wall in a random spot. When their row is full, they will all earn a special prize. So exciting!

We have been celebrating Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September. Our Baby Bruins were inspired this week by the story of Mighty Nate. We wore gold and gold ribbons today to show support for awareness, research, and sharing hope for a cure!

The Bruins in Ms. Mistler's class had a blast recently practicing phonics and team building. They used shaving cream to practice their phonics skills. And, they used index cards to work on team building. Way to go Bruins! Paws up!

A big thank you to WBP's community volunteer, Mrs. Barbara Head. She donated her time and talent to spruce up and beautify our front entrance and the building's green spaces! Thank you Mrs. Head!

Thank you to ATCO Transport for supporting our Staff Shining Star incentive program! These Staff Shining Stars were nominated by their colleagues for going above and beyond in fulfilling their duties. Special shout-out to: Ms. Staub, Ms. Mistler, and Ms. Myers!

Introducing the Anchored4Life (A4L) peer-to-peer club at WBP. These students are our A4L team leaders. They will welcome new students to our building and help them be comfortable in their new school home. Thank you team leaders!
