🔥 Ultimate Waylon's Poll 🔥 Favorite Waylon's recording released in the 1960's? * I think these 4 albums are his greatest from that decade. *

Waylon Jennings Songs Blake Shelton opened for George one night , I had never heard of Blake ,then a few months later he blew up . George, was so nice to Blake ,showed him alot of love . I Loved times like those before all the phones and big screens. ❤️

Waylon Jennings Songs I’d have Brooks & Dunn instead of Travis Tritt but yes Vince Gill has to be in the conversation he was by far the most critically acclaimed artist that decade and the numbers speaks for itself! The man won at least one Grammy every year in the decade.

Great list! I’d take Lefty Frizzell over Webb Pierce in the 50’s and Bob Wills/Tommy Duncan over Merle Travis in the 40’s.

Waylon Jennings Songs I think George Jones’ peak was w/ Sherill in 70s/early 80s. Merle is 60s (or even 80s) before 70s. I’d have Hank Jr. somewhere but his peak was ‘77 - ‘82 and thus hard to pick (and 70s is tough). Marty Robbins for Gibsons in 60s.

A big misconception is that Dean Dillon wrote George Strait’s best songs. Of my top 3 from Strait pre-1990 and post-1990, none were written by DD. My top 3 George Strait, Pre-1990: - Let’s Fall To Pieces Together - Amarillo By Morning - Does Ft. Worth Ever Cross Your Mind
