Reminded of my "why" today. Watched 5th grade JCPS Backpack defenses Watterson Elementary during my planning and lunch. Former S flips to a slide during her presentation and I see my face on the screen. S says, "this is my favorite person in the whole world" 🥹💗 Cue waterworks 😭

🏫 GROUNDBREAKING | JCPS broke ground today on a new early childhood center on property near Watterson Elementary. The facility will feature 23 classrooms for up to 460 three- and four-year-old students and is expected to open in Aug. 2026! STORY: bit.ly/EarlyChildhood… #WeAreJCPS
