WinterJS / Wasmer Edge is now recognized as a runtime for WinterCG along many other cool runtimes 😊

We are excited to be participating in the WinterCG community!

We also compiled Guillermo Rauch, Next.js creator, into WebAssembly.

Now you can deploy a serverless Guillermo that will create new JS frameworks on demand. No food consumption, only RAM. Fully sandboxed. Runs on Wasmer Edge™️

We are incredibly excited to announce that Wasmer has compiled Next.js to WebAssembly so we can evolve from the frontend-cloud to the fullstack-cloud.

Stay tuned for more updates!

The runtime wars are getting spicier - WinterJS 1.0 is faster than Bun...well...kind of. This was weird enough I had to make a video on it

The platform should always shield it's users from malicious behavior.

Otherwise incentives become misaligned, as platforms may economically benefit from DDoS attacks.

Wasmer Edge to the rescue 🛟.

Thanks to Wasmer infrastructure not being built on top of hyperscalars (AWS, Google Cloud, ...), we can skip their egregious Egress costs.

Network, Storage and Compute should always be priced reasonably

We understand DDoS attacks can be quite scary for the customer, specially when using an external provider for your hobby project.

Our compromise: we'll never charge for DDoS attacks in Wasmer Edge
