Our AuD program emphasizes immersive clinical experiences. Each semester, students complete clinical competency checkpoints to assess their knowledge and skills. In spring, 1st-year students focus on diagnostic audiometry, and 2nd-years concentrate on cochlear implants. #audpeeps

Courtney Kroeger, AuD, and PACS student volunteers participated in a health fair at New Sunny Mount Missionary Baptist Church. Erin Davisson, a 1st-year AuD student, assisted with providing hearing screenings and information about hearing conservation and evaluations. Great job!

Congrats to Tia Keatting (2nd-year AuD) who received a travel scholarship to attend the recent American Cochlear Implant Alliance (ACIA) conference in Boston, MA. PhD student Mona Jawad also attended and presented a poster “An Electrocochleography Total Response Bedside Tool."
