Crazy amount of dust kicked up in the Great Basin today, including the Sevier Lake bed southwest of the Wasatch Front. Easily visible on satellite.

This is the next 7 days… Models are showing quite a bit of precip for Northern Utah. Very beneficial. Also, highly likely we see some decent snowfall accumulation in the highest elevations.

Another decent late-spring storm is moving in this weekend. Sunday looks to be the most likely day for "powder" and there's a chance amounts could be in the significant-for-this-time-of-year range.

👀 “Prince sees a possibility of linking Main Street with Solitude and Alta” Congrats to Matthew Prince 🌥! Park City Main Street is in good hands with him as the steward of the town lift base area. And maybe more in the works? parkrecord.com/2025/05/16/par…

We have 5” of snow from 0.61” of water over the past 24 hours at 9600’ in LCC. Looks like quite a bit less farther down the mountain. Occasional showers continue into tomorrow.

It’s not out of the question to see a stray shower tomorrow, but for the most part, we are done with this active pattern. It’s possible we are settling in now for a long, hot summer.
