Hard to wish everyone a happy Eid because there's little that's happy about it. As I gather to eat w/ family I can't help but think about all the families rent apart by slaughter, with no homes to gather in & little to eat. Hold your loved ones close & soon in a free Palestine

They're not upset about the violence though but rather they feel betrayed because they were sold a bunch of promises about the transformative powers of violence and none of them have come true and they feel more unsafe than ever.
