An LLOF event happened in eastern Taiwan about two days ago. The landslide dam was 200 m high, holding 90 million cubic meters of water. Although being forecasted and monitored, the LLOF still caused 17+ death tolls in the downstream town, mostly elders. focustaiwan.tw/society/202509…

Not sure about the cause of this ground crack. It can be related to too many different things other than the tectonic fault rupture...

9月30日セブ島の地震M6.9。多くの死者など大きな被害が出ている。フィリピン火山地震研究所の震源データによる先ほどまでの震央分布。Mの大きなものが上に描かれるようソートしてある。CMT解はUSGSによる。震源断層の走行が北東・南西ならば右横ずれ型のメカニズム。
