Eric Tulsky on how he'd like to improve the #Canes - “Until we have the 20 best players in the league, there’s still room to get better. We’re going to keep working towards that. Every time we see an opportunity to bring in someone who we think helps us take a step forward,

The #Canes enter the offseason in a great spot, with many roster pieces in place, a ton of cap space, and draft picks to potentially move for immediate help. "There’s a lot of optimism, regardless of what Eric can do this summer. That’s how I look at it," Rod Brind'Amour said.

Eric Tulsky on the #Canes' cap space: "We have the full buy-in to spend to the cap if there are ways to do it to get better. We have so much space and such a strong team. There’s no guarantee we can find ways to spend all that money, but we’re going to spend all summer

Watch this, start to finish. Brian Murphy asked Rod Brind'Amour how he and Eric Tulsky evaluate the jobs they did this season. His answer was superb. "We’ve raised the bar to a point where (if) you lose in the semifinals, it’s disappointing. I think that’s pretty good..."
