Spoke to the council, they said "it's not for racing on". I think they should be asking if it's for riding on😂 If the ramps were less steep then it would be improved. Obviously an expensive project, shame it has these issues. Great commentary by Kian Emadi 🤣

Despite its flaws, the new cycleway will enable people to travel safely to visit some of the many businesses along its length.

The new cycleway may be lumpy and bumpy in places, but it really is an enabler for many cyclists. What is that saying that gets said a lot? Build it..

Moorfield Primary School is set to get more guardrails outside. Lyndhurst Ave (the road that the school is on) is a rat run, despite it having parallel routes. This would make a perfect school/filtered street, then railings wouldn’t be “necessary” to kettle the school children.

Middlewood way closed between the Boars Head and Poynton Coppice carpark. There is a simple way around, unfortunately it’s not signposted.

So Bollington and Tytherington access controls have been improved. It’s just the big switchback ramp and access controls at Marple end preventing access to non standard bikes.
