We are kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month! Celebrate with us 🇲🇽🇦🇷🇵🇷

National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from Sept. 15-Oct. 15 in the U.S. for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements for the U.S. Scholars enjoyed the various cultural activities 🇲🇽🇦🇷🇨🇴🇨🇺

We held our first coffee with the principal and annual Title I meeting today. We appreciate all of the parents and guardians that joined us. Our scholar success is a partnership between home and school!

October is cancer awareness month. Wear pink on Mondays to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Our PBIS team met this afternoon. We appreciate the important work they do to build relationships and create a better learning atmosphere for scholars.

At Wakefield we have Thoughtful Thursdays where we wear shirts with positive messages and encourage everyone to spread kindness. Today Sra. Montanez and her scholars kicked off our morning opening with a heartfelt message and positive affirmations 💕

These 6th grade scholars saved up their Wildcat Bucks to have lunch with the principal 💚

Wakefield PTO needs your help!

Today our Smiles for Miles Running Club participated in the City of Turlock Turkey Trot 🦃. Even though it was raining, we had a great turnout! We would like to give a special shout out to all of our staff that run the club and participated in the race!

We appreciate the ongoing support and generosity of Letters to Santa! A huge shout out to all of our staff and volunteers that gave up their Sunday morning to put together gift bags for families in our community 💚
