It was an absolute treat to have a visit from players from The Dionysus Ensemble, who gave our Year 8 pupils a fascinating overview of their work with the music of William Herschel (including the chance to play some of it!) and performed to the whole school.

Yesterday our Year 8s had the privilege of spending time with the wonderful Dame Jane Glover, taking a deep dive into The Magic Flute and a look at Mozart's writing for boys' voices, as well as getting an insight into the work that goes into rehearsing and conducting an opera.
