Elm class took part in a sound hunt around the school listening and identifying the different sounds they could hear to use to rewrite our own poems inspired by 'The Sound Collector' by Roger McGough. The children produced some outstanding onomatopoeia-inspired artwork 🎨 👏

The children have been busy designing and creating their peg dolls ready for today's Remembrance service and we are so impressed with how they turned out! Working together while learning about the importance of honouring and remembering those who served has been really special

This week we welcomed one of the lovely Life educators from Wiltshire Healthy Schools who delivered fun and interactive SCARF workshops for the children. The programmes encourage children to be aware of the importance of looking after their bodies and emotional well-being 😃

The children in Sycamore class have been exploring programming with the Bee-Bot, teaching control, directional language and programming. Always a popular activity, the children worked well in pairs to complete circuits around objects, great work! 👏🤩
