Clearly I have been batting a thousand lately with Customer Service

Whatever you do, DO NOT run the latest Windows update. Unfortunately I did and lost access to windows, my Microsoft Office apps. The only solution proposed by Microsoft Support was to purchase an upgrade for Windows 11.

My formerly loved Lenovo PC is about to become a boat cushion.

While the Microsoft Support person is trying to downgrade my Lenovo Workstations to Windows 10 (presumably the only option), I am online shopping for a new Mac.

After 2+ hours on the phone with Naina from Microsoft Microsoft Support , she disconnected. Marked the problem resolved even though it is not. Maybe she just quit her job and walked away.

After that Windows update things keep getting more interesting. Now neither Windows nor my Microsoft Office apps function. But my other apps are all fine! Again waiting on Microsoft Support . So far I've done about 8 hours trying to fix this <sigh>

Watching the Indiana Football at Iowa game today on Twitter because I can’t afford a subscription to Peacock. Definitely not as festive as seeing the game. But I am glad to get updates. 🏈
