Not the day off I had planned. Clumsiness with a bread knife at lunchtime leading to trips to the GP and Harrogate NHS FT hospital this afternoon to get my thumb glued back together. Amazing care, lovely staff, grateful as ever for our NHS being there for us, whenever we need it.
