#DanGerShock- why it differs from ECLS-Shock -other than device used. Danger lactates ~4.5, LVEF median 25, SBP 82-84 and very tight IQR, OOHA 21.8% ECLS lactates ~6.8, SBP 95-97, LVEF 30 with wide IQR, OOHA 77.5%. Impella treats pump failure not high lactate due to arrest.

Nice image of a coronary wire being in the subintimal space with a pulsating true lumen due to collaterals from RCA AND a diagonal coming off at 3 o clock also dissected … haven’t see this for some time! #cardiotwitter #radialfirst #CardioEd #CardioEd

The haemodynamics of vomiting following primary PCI to LAD. It is truly impressive how raised intra-abdominal pressure impacts on aortic pressure… we talking about an increase of 100mmHg!!! Has anyone else noticed this? #radialfirst #medtwitter #cardiotwitter

Of all the things that can go wrong in a TAVI this is the one that hurts me the most. The unpredictability and our inability to do something. UK stroke thrombectomy is run by IR and the service is to say the least sketchy. We need to act NOW. I just want to suck this thing out
