An even bigger paradox = the new post-pandemic paradigm: can't see a doctor if you're sick; they only want perfectly healthy people in the office.

This stack coincides almost perfectly w/what would be my list of most important books to read. _Mockingbird_ being my favorite of all time.

Another reason to love #beavers. Great vid, Dr. Emily Fairfax . We watched this happen in the upper #FeatherRiver watershed (CA), produced a doc abt it yrs ago.

Disappointing film but yeah, kind of like when Three Mile Is. went awry, just as _The China Syndrome_ was coming out. Now _that_ was creepy. (Only time I've been on a radio news shift when a FLASH came across the wires.)

Mystified by the #IndyCar point system. Newgarden has 2 outright wins in 6 races, incl. #Indy500, 4 top-10 finishes, and he's...4th??

.Sammy Roth I take your pt about Smokey but pretty sure the 1st Rule for parade hosts is "No downers." Maybe we re-interpret the "only you" part of his msg. Since humans are the main drivers of climate collapse, the "Only you" still applies. Probably too subtle for most, tho.
