Privatizing public education will create an increasingly segregated school system in America – not just based on race, but by class. We must not have a two-tier educational system: Private schools for the wealthy, and public schools for low-income and working-class students.

Since Trump took office, life has only gotten more expensive for working class people. Here’s an idea: How about Trump fulfills his campaign promise and caps credit card interest rates at 10% for every American. I have the legislation to do just that.

McMahon goes on record saying private schools funded by taxpayer vouchers—including a federal voucher scheme—do and should have the right to turn children away if those children don’t fit those private schools’ needs. It’s not parent choice. It’s the school’s choice.
