Presented a poster today at VMSG on my PhD work modelling the volcanic deformation at Bárðarbunga volcano in Iceland.

Following our announcement that Michael Heap has won this year's VMSG Award, today he was able to receive it in person and give his keynote lecture at #VMSG_MDSG25 in Dublin!

Our committee also enjoyed the impressive range of talks & posters presented during this week's #VMSG_MDSG25. Congrats to our winners & runners-up for best student talk & poster; Lydia, Abigail, Katie & Jasmine!

UK volcanology was well represented at last week's UNDRR 8th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in Geneva! This brings together the global community working on disaster risk reduction & is crucial for assessing progress on implementation of the Sendai Framework.
