ANC commissioners have a duty to listen to everything said in public comment, but disrespect like this is gross. ANCs handle weighty matters where people can have strong opinions. It is fair to be disappointed if you don't get the result you want, but doing this isn't cool.

I’m aware of the large sinkhole that opened up in the past few days on the 2800 block of 27th St NE and just called it in to the DDOT DC Traffic Operations Center. I’d expect crews there inside of 24 hours but folks should exercise caution around it; it’s enormous inside.

Lots of roadwork in the neighborhood today. Glad to see speedhumps installed on the 3000 blk of 24th, 3000 blk of Thayer, and the 2800 blk of 27th. Also glad to see work in progress to install accessibility ramps on the Thayer crosswalk at 24th and repair the sinkhole on 27th.

Thanks for the support 5Fers! The community remains united against this proposal to re-industrialize Montana Triangle. The sole supporter remains DC Office of Planning, who issued a report characterizing it as “light” industrial “preservation” while ignoring its own PDR Land Use Report.
