As an alumni of Southwestern College, I am excited to have witnessed the ribbon cutting for the new Southwestern College Student Union Center. The Student Union Center now houses the Associated Student Orgranization, a state of the art Culinary Arts Programs, and more!

Thank you Port of San Diego Chief Operations Officer Mike LaFleur and Harbor Police for taking my staff and I on an in depth tour around the San Diego Bay! We sailed from Shelter Island through Coronado and made our way to Chula Vista!

Tomorrow is the deadline for eligible property owners to set up their customer accounts for City of San Diego trash and recycling services. Setting up an account allows customers to select the bin size that works for them and to receive updates from the City about services.
