Singapore and Mexico share a dynamic partnership rooted in free trade and multilateralism. Met Senator Mauricio Vila and his wife Maria Eugenia Ortiz Abraham during his S R Nathan Fellowship visit. We discussed deepening economic ties and people to people exchanges.








Prime Minister Lawrence Wong congratulated Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on a successful ASEAN Summit, and reaffirmed Singapore’s strong support for Malaysia’s Chairmanship.


At the ASEAN Summit, PM Lawrence Wong and President Prabowo Subianto discussed the increasingly challenging global environment and reaffirmed the importance of ASEAN working together to accelerate regional integration and deepen unity.


PM Lawrence Wong met with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah today. As small states, Singapore and Kuwait are like-minded in our commitment to openness and multilateralism.




Reconnected with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas after our last meeting at the G20 Summit. The EU is a key partner for Singapore. We reaffirmed our shared commitment to multilateralism, a rules-based international order and free trade.




The US is a vital partner for Singapore across economic, defence and security fields, as well as emerging areas like AI and energy. Met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio today. Singapore will closely engage the US to mitigate the impact of tariffs on our small and open economy.
