Due to high inflow from Salal Dam, water levels in upstream and downstream villages along Chenab River will rise on 29th & 30th April. To ensure safety movement of people, vehicles& animals along river banks is restricted

Request all citizens of the district not to venture out unless it is very urgent. The bad weather can bring slides and flash floods. Avoid water bodies and movement out of the homes.
The educational institutions in the district shall also remain closed tmrw.
