THREAD: I didn’t know a lot about farming until I spent time on farms in Norfolk County, Ont. — about 160km southwest of Toronto. It’s one of the leading agricultural regions in Canada. There, I had rare access to a vegetable packing plant. I couldn’t believe what I saw. 1/10

It’s now almost December and hundreds of migrant farm workers can’t get home. They require an exemption from their governments to return. Some are now questioning whether they’ll come back to work in Canada next year. Watch our documentary tonight at 9 p.m. on CBC TV. 10/10
