I'm really excited about #ICML being held in Hawaii, but even the conference-rate hotels are starting from 283$/night. That puts lodging for the full conference at almost 3k$ not including the flights, which will cost just as much for overseas attendees. That's an absurd amount.

USCIS Allowing us to work with an approval notice or issuing digital EAD cards would greatly help us avoid losing valuable employment days.

USCIS We can't just "keep waiting" for our EAD cards to be produced. Provide temporary work authorizations for those approved until you fix YOUR OWN problem.
