Help, Twitter! If I was launching a project using online crowdsourcing to collect data from #knitting pattern leaflets, where would I need to publicise it?

I’m starting work on an article! What should I read about crowdsourcing in periodical/archive/digital humanities research?

Where can I find out more about image searching/computer vision? Especially interested in whether and how this is being used in print archives. Is anyone working with or developing an equivalent of OCR for images?

Oh wow, just found the working notes for a doll’s cardigan in a 1951 issue of Home Chat. They are impressively neat! Each row ticked off, with colour changes and stitch counts in brackets 👌

Love it when I find extra stuff in magazines! In this Oct 1932 issue of Weldon’s Ladies’ Journal, newspaper clippings of photos from a Lord’s test (Eng vs WIndies) and instructions for dealing with a squeaky car. Now wondering who the reader was, what else they were reading etc.
