In last night’s blind tasting between ⁦GastonChiquet⁩ & ⁦Hambledon Vineyard⁩, the Hambledon Special Cuvée was favourite of all five tasters. Fyi I chose them both for their similar NV blends. A remarkable result considering the large price difference between the two.

Ripe pear skin, apricot, nectarine, lime zest with a sprinkle of white pepper makes Grüner Veltliner highly desirable. Fingers crossed it will pair nicely later on with an Indonesian style baked Pomfret.👍🏼

A great afternoon was had at Wines of Nova Scotia via Westbury Comms with Jamie Goode guiding us through arguably Canada’s least well know wine province. A few highlights from Lightfoot&Wolfville and #benjaminbridgewines. Canada has much to offer the wonderful world of wine. 👍🏼
