Top wines from day 1 of #ProWein2019 were Robert Weil Grafenburg 02 (from 3L!) and Cantina Massolino Barolo Vigna Rionda 13. Also previewed some great 2018 Rieslings...

Top wines from #prowein2019 day 2 were from UGC tasting of 2016 vintage — tough competition, but my favorites were Smith Haut Lafitte Smith Haut Lafitte and Chateau Giraud Sauternes

So many good wines on day 3 of #prowein2019 — Château de Pibarnon Bandol rose Nuances 16, Bodegas Emilio Moro Sanchomartin 15, #kopke 30-year-old white Tawny Port. But most special was Chateau Musar rouge 74. Lebanon meets Burgundy. Beautiful!

Wonderful tour, lunch and tasting at Passopisciaro winery, where we had the great pleasure of tasting the full lineup of all 5 contrade wines for 2017, as well as delicious Franchetti 17 and 10!

Fantastic tour and tasting this afternoon Tenuta Terre Nere, where they generously shared a 17 horizontal and a Caldera Sottana vertical. All delicious, but the San Lorenzo 17 was my personal favorite.
