Don’t take my word for it folks. Here’s the worlds most foremost primate amygdala neuroanatomist confirming that the Science paper “discovery” is restricted to mice

Our work on mental simulation in monkeys and RNNs just got published! This was a fantastic collaboration between the Sheinberg lab and Theresa on the experimental side and our group, with Alekh Karkada Ashok leading the computational work. Funded in part by a Zimmerman Innovation

🚨NEW PAPER🚨 Proud and excited to see this paper out in print PNASNews Dirk Wulff and I asked ourselves: How do people search for information before making a choice? We analyzed over 1M information-search decisions to answer that. Open access: doi.org/10.1073/pnas.2… 1/9

When I was at OHSU School of Medicine Brian Druker was described to me be a senior faculty member as "the pope of OHSU." When the pope stops believing in an institution & is looking to hit eject you know things are going sideways. wweek.com/news/2024/12/0…

Sad to see OHSU described by one of its own leaders as no longer a place to do deep research. wweek.com/news/2024/12/0… It has been catastrophically mismanaged in recent years.

qPCR can measure expression of virtually any gene... in homogenized tissues. Here, we show an "in-vivo qPCR" equivalent, where we measure a sequence-specific transcript with synthetic serum markers and enzyme-based signal amplification. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Our BONE paper has been accepted to TMLR. It derives methods for state space inference in non stationary environments, where changes to the DHO can be gradual (eg drift) or sudden (eg change point)
