June is Pride Month! This month we celebrate and uplift LGBTQIA+ identities. Pride month began after the Stonewall Rebellions, a series of gay liberation protests starting in 1969. Visit the link in our bio to learn more about the history of gay rights in the United States.

Last week the latest cohort of participants in the VIMS REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) program were at the VIMS Eastern Shore Lab in Wachapreague! This program offers students of all backgrounds a chance to engage in marine science. Looks like they had a blast!
