Rousham class of enjoyed a terrific Tudor workshop today. Sword school, dancing, food, armour and weapons, Shakespeare and some rather gruesome crime and punishment! Lots of fun learning!

The Romans invaded Dewsbury and came to Boothroyd today! Year 4 had a fun filled Roman workshop outdoors. Lots of sticky knowledge gained and learning links made to their prior learning and other areas of the curriculum. #Romans #History #enrichment

Year 4 are thoroughly enjoying their Viking Wow Day with Viking School Visits They have rowed their way to victory at Lindisfarne, handled various Viking weapons and learnt about what they might have eaten in Viking times.

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their visit from @vikingschoolvisits yesterday. We enjoyed learning about raiding, trading and everything Norse.

Year 3 have had an action packed day with Severus our visiting Roman. The children were totally immersed in the wonderful activities on offer. We learned about food and handled ancient artefacts. We made oil lamps and even performed a Roman dance. All in all, a great day!
