I am thrilled and honoured to become a part of the School of Biology School of Biology, IISER-Thiruvananthapuram at IISER Thiruvananthapuram IISER Thiruvananthapuram . I extend my gratitude to everyone for their warm wishes! Looking forward to opportunities for both research and teaching that lie ahead.
Much improved review on conformational entropy from James Fraser (A$AP J) and me. Despite the entropy loss during folding, proteins retain substantial conformational entropy as they fluctuate between conformations in their native state. chemrxiv.org/engage/chemrxi…
Interested in #phylogeny, #biogeography & #speciation? We are looking for a #JRF to join our team to work on soil arthropods CSIR-CCMB; more details here about the project, DEADLINE is 25th May- sites.google.com/view/jahnavijo… about the lab - sites.google.com/view/jahnavijo……Please retweet
We have funding for a postdoc competent in computational work for one year. Expertise and interest in microbial genetics/evolution and NGS analyses ideal. Please look at miralab.co.in and write in by 10th December to [email protected] with a CV and SOP
I am very excited to share that our paper led by Ayşe Nisan Erdoğan, Pouria Dasmeh, Adrian Serohijos is out Nature Communications. It touches key dynamics to understand protein evolution"Neutral Drift" and "Phenotypic Variation" during enzyme/protein evolution. nature.com/articles/s4146…

Protein function often depends on protein dynamics. To design proteins that function like natural ones, how do we predict their dynamics? Hannah Wayment-Steele and I are thrilled to share the first big, experimental datasets on protein dynamics and our new model: Dyna-1! 🧵
